Hyatt House Chicago Schaumburg Hotel, Schaumburg

My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The room I was moved to was fully equipped for cooking and very clean, with a good location and inclusive breakfast. However, the noisy heater and ineffective cool air made it hard to sleep, and there was a lingering smell of garbage in the area.

My stay at the hotel was a lovely experience overall. The rooms, although in need of some renovation soon, were spacious, clean, and perfect for our group of 4 adults and 2 children. The service was amazing, with helpful, friendly, and fast staff, especially Sandy and Mary. The location, nestled in the silent relaxed 'hotels & restaurants' district of Shaumberger, was very good, close to everything we needed. The dining experience, offering delicious muffins and a hot breakfast, was a great plus. However, the hotel could improve its facility maintenance.

The hotel offers spacious rooms with a full kitchen, two separate bedrooms, and two bathrooms, making it perfect for our group of 4 adults and 2 children. However, there was a slight cigarette smoke smell and an ant infestation that required us to relocate to another room. The lack of a proper dining table made eating a bit tricky.
